Grant, 1612, July 13. 10 James I.

Grant by Isaack Rolfe of Radnedge in the county of Buckingham, yeoman, to Christopher Carye of Bledlowridge in the parish of Bledlow in the said county, tayler, Mabel his wife, and Richard their son, for £21 of the timber-work containing one bay, parcel of a frame erected by him in the precincts of Stokenchurch, Oxfordhsire, upon a certain place there known by the name of "the olde garden in Bacon's," the bay being lofted over that is the east bay, and also the plot or little parcel of ground within which the said frame stands; bounded by the ground of William to the north, west, south-west, and a certain way or lane to the north and north-east; with a little barnyard containing 1 acre and 1 rood of land bounded by the said land or way to the south, the ground of Peter Seamer to the north and abutting on the ground of the said Isaack and Peter Seamer; with common of pasture there and in Aston Rowant.
